We collect account details such as name, email address, optional phone number, and login information. Campaign organizers may provide entity details, campaign stories, images, payment instructions, updates, and other public content needed to operate a fundraising page.

Supporters may provide donation details such as donor name, optional message, amount, selected payment method, and payment confirmation uploads. Anonymous donor settings are respected on public pages.

Payment confirmation uploads

Payment confirmation files are used to help organizers review contribution records. These files are not displayed publicly and are intended only for authorized organizers and platform administrators who need access for review, transparency, dispute handling, or abuse prevention.

Comments, reactions, reports, and analytics

Public comments, guest names, and reactions may appear on campaign pages. Campaign reports may include reporter contact information, reasons, and details so that organizers or administrators can review concerns. Visit analytics are pseudonymized and are used to understand campaign activity without storing raw visitor identifiers for public display.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, publish and manage campaigns, show verified public totals, review contribution records, moderate comments and reports, improve safety, prevent abuse, respond to support needs, and maintain platform integrity.

Who can access information

Campaign organizers can access information necessary to manage their entities, campaigns, payment instructions, reports, comments, and contribution reviews. Platform administrators may access records needed to operate, secure, support, and moderate the platform. Public visitors can only see information intentionally displayed on public pages.

Data sharing

ProFunded does not claim to be a bank, payment processor, escrow service, or financial institution. Depending on campaign setup, supporters may send contributions directly using organizer-provided payment instructions. We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared when required by law, to protect users, to investigate abuse, or to operate service providers that support the platform.

Retention

Donation and contribution records may be retained for audit, transparency, accounting, dispute handling, and fraud prevention. Payment confirmation files are retained only as needed for confirmation, dispute handling, abuse prevention, and operational records. Account and campaign information may be retained while an account or campaign remains active or as needed for legitimate platform purposes.

Security practices

We use access controls, private storage for payment confirmation files, validation, rate limiting, and review workflows to reduce unauthorized access and abuse. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user information responsibly.

Your choices and rights

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible information, subject to operational, legal, audit, and dispute-handling needs. Campaign organizers are responsible for keeping campaign and entity information accurate.
